Our management

Alexander Ferstl

Born in Seubersdorf, the graduate civil engineer and business economist started his career at Max Bögl with professional highlights such as the realisation of the new Leipzig-Nuremberg railway line and underground railway projects in Düsseldorf and Munich. His move to Alfred Kunz Untertagebau (now August Reiners Bauunternehmung) at the end of 2013 paved the way for his professional career, where he most recently worked as an authorised signatory and Head of Structural Engineering.

His greatest challenges included the highly complex and technically challenging projects as part of Stuttgart 21, both in tunnelling and in the field of structural engineering.

Klaus Schmidt

Over the past 30 years, Mr Schmidt has held various management positions at Alpine, Strabag, Hochtief and Wiemer und Trachte. At the latter, the Hagen native represented the Rhine rail division and brings with him many years of extensive construction expertise.
