It's not something you see every day in otherwise tranquil Oberndorf:
Three lorries and a 120-tonne mobile crane rolled through the Nuremberg region last Wednesday, 21 May 2025, to install the new frame culvert and shaft structure that crosses the new through road in Oberndorf .
After the parts have been unloaded and moved, our civil engineering/road construction project team is called upon to precisely align the huge elements and bolt them together.
This much is certain: on this day, we were THE talk of the village😎 And residents can soon look forward to wider carriageways, safe footpaths and a modern broadband connection.
