Andesite crushing products and soils
Our andesite crushed products are very popular in the concrete and asphalt industry as well as in road, waterway and railway construction. Our portfolio includes chippings, high-grade chippings, armourstone, track ballast, grain mixtures for track beds and asphalt products as well as crushed sand.
However, our quarries are also used to temporarily store uncontaminated soils that accumulate on construction sites and reuse them to the highest possible quality - by reusing them in new construction projects.
Landfill in Rothschönberg and Wilsdruff
Our landfill site in Rothschönberg is constantly being extended and expanded. There are currently three construction phases where the sealing elements are being installed. The sealing system consists of a clay layer, a plastic sealing sheet (KDB), a sand protection mat and a filter layer on top. A fleece is laid on the reddish filter layer, on which the waste is later stored.
