In the section from Heide/West to Husum/North, 113 new overhead line pylons are to be constructed to "collect" the wind energy yields as part of a 380 kV overhead line. A large proportion of their foundations will be made of in-situ concrete bored piles with diameters between 1m and 1.5m and a setting depth of up to 30m. Depending on the type of overhead line pylon, up to 12 piles of the aforementioned dimensions may be required. Alternatively, individual locations are realised with pile-driven foundations of the dimensions DU 813x15 to 916x20mm. The pile lengths here are up to 28 metres and installation must be carried out by driving.
The pile foundations are being carried out by Eiffage Infra-Spezialtiefbau GmbH, while the head foundations are being constructed by employees from the structural engineering departments of Wittfeld GmbH and Heinrich Walter Bau GmbH. A particular challenge is the relocation of the large equipment to the individual pylon sites in this rather rural area.
This includes the following services:
- Construction of deep foundations using in-situ concrete bored piles DU 1m and 1.5m, depth up to 30m
- Construction of the head connection of the in-situ concrete bored piles
- Installation of the driven pipe foundations using the percussive method
- Relocation processes between the pylon locations
