Overcut bored pile walls and sheet pile shoring

As part of the reorganisation of the Berne system, the Emschergenossenschaft is building a new sewer along the upper reaches of the Berne with the new Essen-Grillostraße stormwater overflow basin. The construction site is located on the northern edge of Essen's city centre on Grillostrasse. The work includes the construction of the overflow basin with MID shaft and two outlet structures, the connecting channel and the unification shaft with connection to the Grillostrasse culvert. Overlapping bored pile walls and sheet pile walls will be constructed for the excavation pit.

This includes the following services:

  • Construction of overcut bored pile walls D = 0.90m, depth up to 10.00m for the stormwater overflow basin and the connecting channel
  • Watertight sheet pile shoring, depth up to 10.00m in the area of the stormwater overflow basin and for manhole S_.032
  • Replacement boreholes in the area of the stormwater overflow basin for the installation of the sheet piling
  • Connections between sheet pile wall shoring and overcut bored pile wall
