Creating a new, friendly atmosphere for pupils in the north of Bochum - the tasks for our TGA team in this new building are quite complex. After all, the new school centre in Bochum Gerthe includes a canteen, a cultural room, a library as well as the Anne Frank secondary school (west wing) and the Heinrich Kleist school (east wing).

Here are our key facts:

  • The building area is approx. 24,000 m²
  • The technical centres are located in the basement, including the heating centre with district heating station, the cold storage tank and heating and cooling distributors
  • We installed a central cooling system on the roof:
    • the cooling capacity of the air-cooled chiller is 472kW
    • The cold storage tank has a capacity of 3,000 litres
  • approx. 360 radiators installed by us ensure a pleasant room climate

  • our team has also installed underfloor heating over 3,480 m² on the ground floor
