As part of the construction of an approx. 4 km long bypass around the town of Datteln, an approx. 204 m long bridge has to be built in order to cross the Dortmund-Ems Canal. The bridge consists of a canal bridge and a foreland bridge.

New construction of the 129-metre-long canal bridge, steel construction
- Supporting structure: 1-span tied arch bridge
- Maximum arch height: 21.60 m
- Total width of carriageway: 13.80 m

New construction of the 75 m long foreshore bridge in prestressed concrete construction
- 2-web slab girder in in-situ concrete construction over 2 spans

Construction of drilling levels, a pre-assembly area (canal bridge)
Construction of an embankment for a cycle and footpath with a length of 185 m
Construction work for the construction of the section from construction km 8+918.54 to 9+934.28 up to the upper edge of the frost protection layer.
Construction of an access ramp over the northern road trough (Markfelder Str.).
Construction of an embankment with a length of approx. 250 m, north of the foreland bridge
