Apprenticeship as a Digitalisation Management Clerk

In this role, you will take on a wide range of organisational and IT-related tasks. These include, amongst other things:

• analysing existing work, business and value-added processes
• Identifying areas for improvement and planning digital solutions
• comparing IT products and services, obtaining and evaluating quotations
• helping to implement hardware and software
• Testing IT systems and digital processes, analysing faults and problems, and ensuring they are rectified
• Document data, produce reports and present findings
• Advise and train colleagues on new digital solutions
• Provide support on issues such as IT security and data protection

Digitalisation management specialists work primarily:

• in the IT departments of companies and public authorities
• at IT service providers, systems integrators and consultancy firms
• in areas where business processes are planned, managed and digitised

You will mainly work in an office at a computer, liaising closely with specialist departments and IT, and, drawing on your understanding of processes and technology, ensure that digital collaboration within the organisation improves step by step.

• at least a secondary school leaving certificate or a vocational baccalaureate
• An interest in commercial and organisational tasks
• Customer- and service-oriented approach
• A good understanding of hardware and software
• Numeracy and analytical skills, with a meticulous and structured approach to work
