Late-summer morning mist in the Odenwald, endless expanses, a cup of coffee in your hand… this image quickly sets your mind wandering and might even have you reminiscing about a holiday or two. But the Odenwald, usually so tranquil, can also be quite different, because at the moment no onecan get past our Eiffage Infra-Südsites here😎:
Whether in the north-eastern part at our Zell viaduct, or further south-west in Mörlenbach at the viaduct of the same name, or at our Berkersklamm and Kisselhöhe tunnel construction sites. Everywhere, a new highlight is waiting to be discovered. This time, it was the turn of the Mörlenbach viaduct, as yesterday saw the concreting of the abutment at axis 80. True to the motto ‘Fog over the forest, concrete in full force’, the following were used here from 7 am until midday:
- just under 330 m³ of concrete
- our project team, operating two concrete pumps simultaneously
- and plenty of teamwork and passion for construction😍
A fantastic achievement by everyone involved, and we’re already looking forward to many more highlights. Autumn is set to be colourful in the Odenwald, and even more so with our fantastic construction sites💪.
