Reconstruction of bridge structure BW 454b carrying the St 578 over the A81:

  • Construction as a steel-composite frame structure
  • Integral composite steel bridge
  • Double-web plate girder with fully welded steel box-girder webs and a reinforced concrete deck
  • Span: 64.60 m, width: 12.10 m
  • Structural height: 1.90 m (span) to 3.68 m (fixed end)
  • Including superstructure and earthworks, cable installation and track construction
  • Carried out in a joint venture with Hartleb Stahl- und Anlagenbau GmbH

  • Earthworks / excavation of construction pit: 21,000 m³
  • Installation / backfilling: 17,000 m³
  • Reinforced concrete: 2,950 m³
  • Reinforcing steel: 560 tonnes
