As part of development plan 23, Barmbek-Nord, a noise barrier is being erected in the area of the sports centre. The foundation of the noise barrier and the integrated grandstand roof will be on in-situ concrete bored piles with a diameter of 90 cm. The grandstand in front is supported by the LSW posts and wall plinths. The wall elements are highly absorbent timber elements on one side.
