REPLACEMENT CONSTRUCTION OF HASKENAU BRIDGE IN MÜNSTER
Dismantling and replacement construction of the Haskenau pedestrian and cycle bridge in Münster. Once the infrastructure for the construction site had been prepared, the old wooden bridge was dismantled, crushed and disposed of segment by segment. The construction site was then prepared for the new bridge. Firstly, 10 bored piles, each 8 metres long, were driven into the ground. This was followed by the construction of the reinforced concrete abutments and supports. After the concrete was poured, the earthworks were carried out and the steel superstructure with GRP planking was put in place. This was followed by the construction of the surfaces and the dismantling of the construction site infrastructure.
This included the following services:
- Installation, provision and removal of all traffic safety equipment at the work sites
- Preparation of the construction site facilities, construction roads and staging areas
- Dismantling the existing structure, superstructure and substructures up to the demolition limit
- Construction of bored pile foundations (approx. 80 m bored piles d=0.88m)
- Construction of excavation pits, preparation of foundation areas
- Construction of foundation pads under abutments
- Construction of foundations and pile head beams (approx. 55 m³ concrete, approx. 10 tonnes reinforcing steel B 500 B)
- Construction of abutments and piers (approx. 55 m³ concrete, approx. 10 tonnes reinforcing steel B 500 B)
- Construction of bridge superstructure as steel truss construction with plastic planking
- Construction of the structural backfill
- Construction of the paving work and embankment steps
- Topsoil application on the embankments
- Remaining work, dismantling of construction site equipment, restoration of the construction site and staging areas
- Removal of traffic safety measures for the diversion route and signposting
