Eiffage Infra-Nordwest is carrying out a fault clearance measure for Deutsche Bahn in Bochum. The background to this is damage to a Deutsche Glasfaser cable package during work at a depth of around 4.50 metres.
As part of the project
- the damaged cable will be professionally neutralised and re-drilled
- A total of three new cable conduits will be installed
- the drilling was carried out using an HDD drilling rig (horizontal directional drilling)
The measure serves to quickly restore the function of the line and ensure trouble-free operation of the affected infrastructure.
