All Saints' Day was by no means a "quiet holiday" at our construction site near Wendelstein on the temporary structure over the A73 motorway this year. The project team was able to achieve the first partial success by lifting the VFT girders into place on Saturday night💪.
Traffic in the direction of Feucht was reopened at 5 a.m. on the dot: Perfect teamwork between our civil engineering/road construction and civil engineering🤝.
The replacement construction of BW 4b at a glance:
- Replacement construction of BW 4b as a flyover of the St 2225 motorway over the A73
- Construction of the temporary ramps and erection of the temporary bridge
- approx. 3,000 m³ of topsoil and approx. 28,000 m³ of earthworks
- approx. 26,000 m³ of new earth for backfilling and temporary embankments
- approx. 7,900 m² of asphalt for temporary ramps
Next weekend (08.-09.11.25) it will be the turn of the Nuremberg carriageway . ♥️ congratulations on this great achievement and good luck for the next steps, as well as a continued accident-free construction period.
