A few weeks ago, we were thrilled by the photos from the shoot in Mörlenbach, especially the insights below ground, which are anything but commonplace for all "non-tunnellers". The entire dimension of the project becomes more tangible, especially in the attached video. But there is also a lot going on in Mörlenbach outside the tunnel.
The civil engineering work on the north and south aprons of the Berkersklamm tunnel is currently taking shape, as the retaining walls are already clearly recognisable. And inside the tunnel, the formwork carriage is being used to construct the tunnel lining.
At the same time, work on the Kisselhöhe tunnel is also in full swing - the photos show the progress of construction work on the northern pre-cut.
