Full closure for the bridge insertion (04 - 09/05/2016)

  • Removal of track yokes and superstructure
  • Shoring the superstructure
  • Installation of transverse shoring to secure masts
  • Re-anchoring of cross shoring
  • Construction of the excavation pit, shunting track
  • Insertion of the frame weighing more than 2500 tonnes over a distance of 45 m
  • Backfilling of the frame
  • Removal of shoring and anchoring
  • Restoring the superstructure and tracks
  • Dismantling of auxiliary cable bridges and cable re-laying in cable duct final position
