Construction of a noise barrier with an integrated grandstand roof in Hamburg, in the Barmbek district
As part of Development Plan 23, Barmbek-Nord, a noise barrier is being constructed in the area of the sports complex. The foundations for the noise barrier and the integrated grandstand roof are laid on cast-in-situ concrete bored piles with a diameter of 90 cm. The front-facing grandstand is supported by the noise barrier posts and wall plinths. The wall elements consist of highly absorbent timber panels on one side.
