ABS / NBS Karlsruhe–Basel, Rastatt Tunnel Expansion 2022
This included the following works:
- 12,000 m of slab track
- Two tunnel tubes, each 4.3 km long
- Two troughs, 800 and 900 metres long respectively
- Eight cross-passages and one service shaft
- 1.6 km of lightweight mass-spring system per tunnel tube / frequencies 12.5 Hz and 16 Hz
- 90,000 m³ of concrete
- Installation of the floor, side walkways, fire-fighting water mains, pumping stations and rigid road surface
- Lining of the cross-passages
- 6,400 m² of noise barrier
