Our own track-laying machines and logistics
State-of-the-art specialised equipment is simply indispensable for us. Our machinery is state of the art. It includes various track and universal tamping machines, several ballast ploughs and a ballast cleaning machine. We also have a rail crane, MFS wagons with loading station and a conversion train with special wagons. This makes it a high-performance partner for track construction projects.
In recent years, we have continuously expanded our logistics division. Today, we own 180 freight wagons of various types. From flat wagons with steel floors to tipper wagons, we can optimally equip our construction sites.
As an independent rail transport company, we already use our own locomotives for the increasingly sought-after logistics services.
Our own workshop
Maintenance and service are very important to us. After all, we want to avoid breakdowns and successfully complete projects without delays. With our own workshop with a railway siding in Herne and mobile workshop trolleys, we ensure that maintenance and repairs to our devices can be carried out quickly on site. Our workshop is certified in all ECM functions in accordance with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779.
Also good to know in this context: We have certifications for the welding of rail vehicles in accordance with EN 150852 and for non-destructive testing methods in accordance with EN 169107/DIN 27201-7.

Track-laying machines
Jörg Hermsen
Jörg Hermsen was appointed technical managing director (spokesman) of Eiffage Infra-Nordwest in 2007, after having worked for the company as a civil engineer and head of department since 1986. At the same time, the graduate engineer has been managing the business of Eiffage Infra-Rail GmbH, the sister track construction company of Eiffage Infra-Bau SE, since 2011.
Jörg Rose
Jörg Rose took over the commercial management of Eiffage Infra-Rail GmbH in April 2013. Mr Rose is also on the Executive Board of Eiffage Infra-Nordic, where he previously held the position of Commercial Managing Director.
Prior to this, he held various commercial management positions in the railway construction business in Germany and abroad.
