Construction of a new S-Bahn station comprising a platform and an accessible access structure, as well as a flight of stairs spanning two tracks to provide access to the central platform.
As part of this work, the central track was removed and the platform, together with the access structures, was constructed. A new track, including embankment widening, the construction of a retaining wall, as well as wing walls and abutments, was built.
The station was connected via underground cabling works and signalling systems.
This included the following works:
- Civil engineering works, including the construction of abutments, an access structure and supports for the staircase
- Heavy earthworks, including embankment widening, excavation of the construction pit and soil replacement
- Track construction
- Underground cable works
- Special civil engineering works, including the construction of a retaining wall (160 m) and bored pile works

- Platform fit-out
- Steelwork including staircases, refurbishment of railway viaduct (bridge)
