Construction of a safety structure, forest pond site

Since March 2021, Eiffage Infra-West, in a joint venture with Ecosoil Nord-West and on behalf of RAG Montan Immobilien, has been constructing a retaining structure on the site of the former Waldteich coal and coke storage facility in Oberhausen. 
The structure will be around eight hectares in size and five metres high.

drainage system and retention basin

- surface design (habitat design) 
approx. 95.000 m³ of reclaimed soil 
Around 500 trees and shrubs
Seeding with embankment turf, butterfly and wild bee fringe
