As you can see from the cover photo, TEAMWORK is a top priority on our Isar bridges. That’s because our civil engineering and road construction teams are working hand in hand here (pictured are our two foremen from both departments). No wonder the work is progressing so well. After all, ‘Those who work alone add. Those who work together multiply.’ ♥️
Work on the sub-base has begun on the Große Isar and the pile beams have been driven into place. Next , a pile-supported retaining wall will be erected and backfilled. In addition , the precast elements have been placed on the longitudinal beams, joined together and reinforced.
In short: everything is ready here for the concreting of the carriageway slab, which means the green light has been given for the diversion of traffic onto the temporary bridge, scheduled to take place during the night of 21 to 22 September 2026💪.
We look forward to many more ‘déjà vu’ moments with you all and wish everyone involved in the project continued success and an accident-free construction period🍀.
A heartfelt THANK YOU goes to our colleague from the surveying team: not only does he have an eye for capturing our construction sites perfectly, but he also has a particularly knack for snapping the perfect photos and scenes – we’d love to see more of them👏.
