We are currently celebrating many "final acts" at our Krondorf viaduct construction site, e.g. the concreting of the last superstructure at the end of April or the last cycle shift of the second and final construction phase, which was successfully completed a fortnight ago. In short: work with a lot of tact is the order of the day here😎.

Of course, there is still a lot to do before we celebrate the opening to traffic in late autumn. But we have reached one of the biggest milestones with the final shunting💪.

This festive occasion was even captured in an exclusive photo shoot. One postcard motif chases the next... if you can even call it that in the social media age🤭.

The successful final shift and the many exciting and eventful years were celebrated at the joint bridge party on 21 May 2026 together with representatives of our client, engineering offices, planners and subcontractors🤝.

Also impressive - our Krondorf viaduct in figures:

  • Total length: 475 metres at a height of 40 metres
  • Displaced superstructure: 450 metres long and weighing 18,000 tonnes💪
  • 40 metre high piers, founded on bored piles up to 32 metres long

Enjoy clicking through the many unique moments and lasting memories of our first major project, captured in photos and film. It's not just Florian Chlum 's eyes that are beaming with pride - the video is guaranteed to give you goosebumps🦆 . Of course, the one or other tear of joy may also be shed🥰.

And our little ones can get some inspiration for their colouring competition from this shoot (we reported). Our Krondorf viaduct: A construction site straight out of a picture book - only even more beautiful because it's not just any old story, but our eigene♥️.

Congratulations on this outstanding achievement and good luck for your accident-free final spurt🍀.
