The lifting and installation of the temporary bridges over the Main-Danube Canal has begun. The temporary bridges form part of the overall refurbishment of the harbour bridges in Nuremberg.

Following the successful bridge relocation carried out by our consortium partner SEH Engineering GmbH, the SS80 bridge between axes 20 and 30 is now being hoisted into place as a temporary bridge. To handle these loads, a 750-tonne crane and a 1,200-tonne crane – considered the largest crane in Europe – are being used.
