"For years, Eiffage Infra-Süd GmbH has refrained from giving Christmas presents to external parties and instead wants to use these funds to support meaningful local projects," explained Managing Director Alexander Ferstl when handing over the cheque. "We are particularly pleased that the money will be used for projects that benefit children."

The donation will go to the Ludwig and Theresien Orphanage Foundation, which is based in Schwabach, the headquarters of Eiffage Infra-Süd GmbH.

Part of the donation will be used for the "Paws off" project. This is a theatre play that WEISSE RING has developed together with the "FigurenZauberei" theatre in Constance.

"Pfoten weg" is a project to raise awareness of the issue of sexualised violence against children. The theatre performances are to take place in January 2025 for all daycare children in Schwabach - that's around 1,470 children.

The other part of the donation will be used for various holiday care measures. The Schwabach Youth and Family Office would like to offer a group of primary school children circus-themed childcare during the summer holidays.
