Together we are driving the energy transition forward

The Conneforde - Cloppenburg - Merzen project is a sustainability project by TenneT for the transmission of green wind power from the North Sea to the interior of the country via high-voltage overhead lines and underground cables.
Eiffage Infra-Spezialtiefbau GmbH is responsible for the complete services for the foundations of the electricity pylon, including the installation and alignment of the base of the pylon at 46 locations in the 21 km long planning approval section 1 of the project.

The Eiffage-Infra-Spezialtiefbau GmbH team is constructing the bored pile foundations itself using two of its own machines and is managing the entire subcontractor deployment for the subsequent services. These include groundwater management, excavation and shoring work and pile head processing, as well as pile quality control, positioning and alignment of the pylon base and the subsequent reinforced concrete work on the pylon foundation heads visible above ground and the final backfilling of the excavation pit.

We are proud to be able to contribute to the infrastructural basis of the energy transition with this and numerous other overhead line construction projects, so that green electricity can soon be fed from the coasts into the German electricity transmission grid.
