Construction of the "Rheda 2000" ballastless track system

Construction of the "Rheda 2000" slab track system and the peripheral roads in the 4,205 m long single-track Old Kaiser Wilhelm Tunnel as well as construction of the transition areas and ancillary work.

 

Construction work carried out:

  • Construction of 4,273 m of the "Rheda 2000" ballastless track system in the single-track tunnel including transition areas
  • Ballast superstructure in the pre-cuts (incl. 3 points)
  • Edge path construction
  • Repair of the EU bridge road and masonry renovation
  • Construction of LSW
