Together with a consortium partner, our civil engineering team has been building a railway overpass in Bottrop on behalf of DB Netz AG since November 2021.
The contract includes the complete earthworks (demolition), deep foundations, concrete construction, track construction and explosive ordnance probing.
All work must be completed as far as possible during the almost one-year closure period. The final insertion of one of the two flyover bridges recently took place.
Three different shunting techniques were used: SPMT shunting, strand shunting and lifting with a large crane.
