Three railway overpasses were also renewed in the city of Bielefeld as part of the track renovation of the DB line from Hanover main station to Hamm (Westf.) Bf. The over 100-year-old level crossings in Schildeschen Straße, Schillerstraße and Von-der-Recke-Straße were each demolished in two construction phases and replaced with new bridge structures. Extensive shoring and pile foundation work had to be carried out for the replacement of these new structures. Due to the local and operational conditions, some of this work could only be carried out at a limited height, so a short-mast version of a drilling rig from the company's own machine park had to be used.
