The Marselisborg project in Aarhus, Denmark, is one of the larger projects in neighbouring countries. In Aarhus, a 900 m long storage canal was built in the immediate vicinity of the harbour and the Baltic Sea. This considerable length was additionally rounded off with a particularly tight curve with a radius of only 150 metres. The tight curve was countered with the hydraulic joint from Jackcontrol, so that the open bonnet shield with draw hoe entered the target pit with pinpoint accuracy even after a total of 3 curves and 900 m of tunnelling length. The DN2200 / DA2700 jacking pipes passed under various roads and railway lines.
