New high-performance lines are needed to transport the energy generated in Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein to consumers. The existing 220 kV line between Emden/Ost and Conneforde will therefore be replaced by a powerful 380 kV line. Together with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and Eiffage Infra-Nordwest GmbH, the deep foundations for 17 pylon sites are being constructed in construction lot 2. Construction lot 2 includes large parts of the Fehntjer Tief and ends shortly before the Timmel bypass. Inclined piles with an inclination of up to 12°, a diameter of 1,000 mm and 1,500 mm and a length of up to 26.00 metres are being installed. Due to the high groundwater levels and stratum water even above the actual groundwater level, the drilling work can only be carried out with surcharge water.
