Since April 2023, our team at Eiffage Infra-West (EI-W) has been working flat out to realise this important infrastructure project for the NRW road construction authority. The route was officially completed and opened to traffic in July 2025. With a net project volume of €8.3 million and proceeds of €1.8 million from the acceptance of external soil, the construction site in Dülmen-Merfeld is a truly major project. Our services include the complete earthworks, road construction and asphalt construction. The installation of 150,000 m³ of soil was particularly challenging in terms of technology and logistics. Whether for precise soil placement or asphalting: State-of-the-art machinery and a well-coordinated team ensured that the entire 2,000 tonnes of surface course was laid over a width of 12.5 m - a total of 18,000 tonnes of asphalt were laid. In addition, the new Merfeld junction with roundabout, three rainwater retention basins and a modern car park for motorists were built.
Our B67n construction site is not only a technical highlight, but also a real team project. The pictures show: precise soil paving, asphalt work at the highest level, state-of-the-art machines in use and a motivated team that achieves great things together.
