In Bergkamen, the civil engineering team from Eiffage Infra-Nordwest is working together with its sister company Eiffage Infra-Spezialtiefbau for RAG Deutsche Steinkohle AG.
During the reorganisation of the mine water drainage system at the former Haus Aden shaft site, the mine water drainage system will be separated from the discharge from the Oberaden pumping station. In the first construction phase, the Dattel-Hamm canal will be undercut with a parallel pipe jacking. A media channel with an internal diameter of 2.80 metres for the mine water drainage and a further channel with a diameter of 3.20 metres, which receives the flood discharge from the Oberaden pumping station. In addition, a new mine water pipe with leakage monitoring in various diameters up to one metre is being laid. Specially trained welders from the team are taking on the challenging tasks.
The project will run until December 2023.
