Development work for the "Queichheim" construction area in Landau
Hans Lamparter GmbH intends to develop the "Queichheim" construction area in Landau in der Pfalz on an area of 5.1 ha and has commissioned our civil engineering and road construction department to do so.
In addition to private development areas, public transport and ancillary facilities as well as green spaces will also be created. The wastewater will be discharged into the existing sewer, while the rainwater will seep away into newly constructed swales.
As part of the project, we will lay around 630 metres of wastewater sewer with approx. 70 house connections and create 4,400 m² of swale areas. For the carriageway, footpaths and car parks, around 5,200 m² of paving, 2,300 m of edging and 700 m of paved channels will be installed, which will be equipped with 35 street inlets and box gutters. We will create space for 10 tree fields and other green areas in the entire development area. For the lighting systems, we will pour around 35 pole foundations and lay 1,300 metres of lighting cable in trenches. We will also be carrying out the earthworks for the water, electricity and heating supply.
A total of 63 plots of different sizes will be created. There are plans for 28 detached houses, the same number of semi-detached houses, 9 terraced houses and over 30 flats in apartment blocks.
The contract value is around €2.4 million net. Construction work began in April 2024 and is expected to be completed in December 2024.
