The Niersverband Viersen is handling several projects at the Mönchengladbach-Neuwerk sewage treatment plant between 2022 and probably the end of 2026. The Civil Engineering department was commissioned with the "Concrete and Pipeline Construction" measure.
The contract includes the following key construction services:
- Construction of a secondary clarifier together with concrete construction of a pumping station, shafts and pipeline construction
- Construction of the shell of a blower hall as a concrete structure
- Construction of an elevated cable route as a concrete and steel structure
The project will run for around 33 months from December 2023 to August 2026 with a contract value of EUR 14.1 million.
