The International Garden Exhibition "IGA Metropole Ruhr 2027" will take place in 2027. Eiffage Infra-Nordwest's civil engineering department is helping to shape the "green future" of the Ruhr metropolis. We are part of the project with the construction of two cycle path bridges that connect several locations of the garden festival via a cycle path.
A design by NU Architects (Paris) in collaboration with Marx Krontal from Hanover is being realised. The bridge structure will be pushed over the Lippe in six segments with a radius of 97 metres.
The preparatory work is currently underway: The abutments are being founded deep on micropiles, the earthworks for the reinforced concrete work have already been completed and the final steel construction work before delivery is being carried out at the factory of our consortium partner Schone & Bruns.
