Hand in hand for even more safety

Around four weeks after the joint rescue and evacuation exercise on our Isar bridge (we reported), we met up with THW Landshut again , fortunately not for a mission, but to do some good together tun♥️. To thank them for their great support during our exercise and for providing a lifeboat for the duration of our superstructure work, we presented THW Landshut with a special water rescue dummy . Previously, the THW only had training manikins that were not suitable for use in water. In the summer months, the THW used its own helpers as training aids, but this would be too dangerous in the colder months of the year. And so there was great joy about this dummy and the new training opportunities it provided. Strong partners like to help each other: hand in hand for even more safety🤝!

After the handover, we were able to experience a very special highlight👏 : we took the rescue boat out on the Isar, first under our bridge over the Kleine Isar, then to the bridge over the Große Isar - our next section of the overall construction project - and then across the river, accompanied by interesting stories from the THW. After our boat tour, the hot coffee in the construction site container tasted even better🥶.

We wish the entire THW many effective exercises, as few deployments as possible and all of us continued success and an accident-free construction period!
