On Friday, 14 June 2024, the Landshut State Building Authority hosted the ground-breaking ceremony for our joint Isarbrücken project. In addition to the project participants from the Landshut State Building Authority and Eiffage Infra-Süd GmbH, the Bavarian Ministry of Transport and Stadtwerke Landshut were also represented.

The common goal is to upgrade the Isar bridges to the current standard with increased load-bearing capacities. The two bridges over the Kleine and Große Isar will be replaced by two new structures. Temporary bridges will be used so that traffic can continue to flow during the construction period. In addition, the new bridge structures will each be equipped with a 4-metre-wide footpath and cycle path.

The project is due to be completed by June 2027.
