"Fits, wobbles and has air" - we are part of the WDR documentary series format

Our dual student Burcu Keles has given her all and can be seen in action in the episodes of the 4th season together with her trainer, Jürgen Liese, and her colleague Kerim Korkmaz.

"Passt, wackelt und hat Luft" is a documentary series about trainees in the skilled trades and their daily challenges. From Monday, 9 January 2023, the episodes will be broadcast on WDR every Monday from 21:00.
We are very pleased that our colleague and dual student Burcu is taking part in the WDR format and can thus show that women can also excel in a male-dominated profession. She is 19 years old, is studying civil engineering and is also training to become a track layer. She is in her first year of training at Eiffage Infra-Nordwest and is learning everything about track and railway construction.

"I decided to train as a track layer because I wanted variety in my job. There are many different specialisms and work steps in track construction, and that's what makes it special for me," she says.

The fact that Burcu is a woman doesn't play a role in her day-to-day work; she is involved everywhere and gets help from her team when necessary.

The episodes can also be viewed in the media centre: Fits, wobbles and has air
