The civil engineering team from Eiffage Infra-Nordwest is working for the Niersverband Viersen on the Mönchengladbach-Neuwerk wastewater treatment plant from December 2023 to the end of 2026.
The circular basin is currently being drained (i.e. the groundwater is being pumped out of the dense basin) and will soon serve as a construction pit for the new secondary clarifier.
The attached pictures and video will give you an insight into everyday reinforced concrete construction - formwork panels are being prepared and erected so that the walls of the new blower hall can be concreted.
