The save-the-date for our large-scale concreting work on the Vilstal Bridge had already provided a little taster. Last week, the time had finally come: 20 hours of concrete power as far as the eye could see💪.
In several shifts, our project team experienced everything that makes a bridge builder's heart beat faster. From the start at 3 a.m. until late in the evening at 11 p. m., the almost 135 metre long superstructure for the largest bridge on the Kümmersbruck western bypass was built👏.
Our project team and the approx. 3,250 tonnes of concrete were in action:
- two concrete mixing plants
- three concrete pumps
- approx. 20 concrete mixer lorries
- approx. 170 lorry loads of concrete
...and a lot of teamwork🤝! ♥️-Congratulationson this impressive achievement and good luck for your next milestones!
